Terms of Service

1. About this service
Casper Prep Test (casperpreptest.com) is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Acuity Insights, who administer the official CASPER test. Use of this service does not guarantee any specific result on the real CASPER test.
The sitting screens are plain, timed, single-scenario screens with no way back, reflecting the constraints of the real test, so that the format feels familiar on the day. No official questions are used, no official rubric is applied, and nothing produced here is an official score.
Everything the service reports back to you, including scores, practice bands, percentiles, and quartiles, is an AI-generated practice estimate. It is not a prediction of your official CASPER result and not a prediction of any admissions outcome.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the service for lawful personal preparation purposes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or attempt to access another user's account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or attempt to misuse the service.
4. Free sample
Each account receives one free scored practice sitting: the whole typed section, seven scenarios, the same seven for every account. It is non-transferable and is provided without any payment obligation. After completing it, continued access, meaning further sittings with questions you have not been shown before and the on-camera video section, requires a paid pass. The free sitting is also subject to a site-wide daily cap, so on a busy day it may not be available immediately.
5. Paid passes
Paid access is sold as time-limited passes (for example a 7-day Sprint Pass or a 30-day Complete Pass), billed once through Stripe. A pass is a one-time purchase: nothing renews, no further charges follow, and access simply ends when the pass expires. By buying a pass you agree to the following:
- A pass grants unlimited individual practice while it runs, subject to the fair-use rules in section 6. “Unlimited” means one person preparing for their own test by hand; it does not license automation, account sharing, or bulk extraction.
- Your access window starts at purchase. Buying a further pass while one is running adds the new pass’s days onto the time you have left, rather than replacing it.
- Passes are shown and charged in the currency of your region (currently USD, CAD, or AUD), determined at the time of display.
- Unused time on an expired pass is not refunded automatically, except where required by applicable law. If something has gone wrong with a charge, write to support and we will look at it case by case.
- If a payment is refunded in full, or a payment dispute is opened against it with the card network, the pass that payment bought is revoked and paid access ends at that point. If a dispute is later resolved in our favour and the charge stands, write to support and we will restore the days the pass had left when it was revoked.
- We may change pass prices at any time; the price you paid for a pass already purchased never changes, because nothing renews.
- A pass is digital content supplied immediately. By purchasing, you expressly request access to begin as soon as payment completes and acknowledge that, where a statutory cancellation or cooling-off right for digital content applies where you live (for example the 14-day right in the UK and EU), that right ends once access begins. Your other statutory rights, including those described in section 13, are unaffected.
A small number of accounts opened before passes existed remain on our earlier monthly subscription. Those subscriptions keep renewing until cancelled, which you can do at any time from the “Manage billing” link on your dashboard (Stripe’s billing portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. While such a subscription is active it grants the same access a pass does, and a pass cannot be bought alongside it.
6. Acceptable use
An account is for one person. You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract content from the service in bulk.
- Republish, resell, or redistribute the practice questions or the feedback written on your answers.
- Reach the service with bots, scripts, or any other automated tool instead of a browser.
- Use the service to train competing AI models or datasets.
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
- Submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or intended to harm others.
Unlimited practice on a pass means unlimited for one person practising by hand. We keep backend pacing in place, per account and site-wide, so a start can occasionally be refused even when nothing is wrong, and we reserve the right to review and restrict volumes of use that no individual manual preparation would produce. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service.
7. AI-generated content
Scenario prompts and feedback are generated by AI models. They are provided for practice purposes only and do not represent official CASPER evaluation criteria, scoring rubrics, or standards. AI feedback may contain errors or omissions. Do not treat it as a definitive assessment of your ability.
Questions are written by AI behind automated style checks, and are then rated again by an AI reviewer against our own quality criteria. Questions that pass are kept in a bank and may be dealt to other students later, so a sitting may serve you a reviewed question from that bank rather than one written that minute. Either way, we keep a record of every question your sittings have been dealt, and questions served from the bank are checked against it, so a banked question is never dealt to you twice. Your written answers are never stored in the bank or shown to another student; the only thing retained against a banked question is the anonymous numeric score distribution described in the Privacy Policy.
Two kinds of comparison can appear in a report. The overall percentile and quartile appear only for sittings in which you answered every scenario, once enough such sittings of your sitting type exist on this service, and are drawn from those sittings. Per-question comparisons (“higher than about N percent of answers to this exact question”) are computed for any scenario you answered, and are drawn from all recorded answers to that question, including answers given in sittings that were not fully completed. Both pools include calibration sittings that we generate and grade ourselves to give the comparison a starting population, and both describe this service’s own pool of practice work and nothing wider.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design, and content of this service are owned by the operator. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish any part of it without written permission. Your own written practice responses remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to process them through our AI pipeline to produce your feedback.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise continuous availability. Practice sittings depend on third-party AI providers, and we apply usage caps to keep the service affordable to run, so there may be times when a sitting cannot be started immediately. We may add, change, or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service altogether while you hold an unexpired pass, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid for it.
10. Ending your account
You may stop using the service at any time. A pass ends on its own and nothing renews, so for pass holders there is nothing to cancel; if your account is one of the few still on the earlier monthly subscription (section 5), cancel it from the “Manage billing” link on your dashboard. You can ask us to delete your account and its data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms; where we do so and the breach was not deliberate, we will refund the unused portion of any pass already paid for.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Except for guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded (see section 13), the service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will improve your CASPER score. Use the service at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to section 13, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to any outcome on your actual CASPER assessment. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
13. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a guarantee applies that we cannot exclude, our liability for failing to meet it is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. In particular, section 5’s treatment of refunds as handled case by case does not displace a refund you are entitled to by law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state and any courts able to hear appeals from them. If you use the service from another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it is to be read down to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be. The remaining provisions continue in full force.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If a change materially reduces what you receive under a pass you have already paid for, it does not take effect for you until that pass ends.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms can be directed to admin@casperpreptest.com.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version you are reading.
